“The purpose of a storyteller is not to tell you how to think, but to give you questions to think upon.” Sedona weaves its ancient magic as the storytelling starts and we will gather to hear a series of traditional Native American, Mexican, Chinese and modern tales. These vivid stories with magical animals and Gods of the elemental world are told in a dramatic way that builds a series of images in your mind. Hear tales like The Coyote and The Dancing Star, Yellow Corn Girl, and Chinese legend of Jade Rabbit. In between stories, we will allow guests to comment & question in this interactive event. It may be possible for the guest to contribute a song, story or poem, if they like. Although children are welcome, the stories and performance style is not specifically geared for children but listeners of all ages. Location will be a short 10 minute walk/ a easy to drive up to picnic table at the discretion of your host/or an indoor location. Find a free audio story of the Navajo Emergence Tale on Creative Soul Scavenger Hunts website.
