In our 1.5 hour specialty coffee workshop session we will; - look at raw coffee and learn about the roasting process and how it impacts on the flavour. - Learn how to select good beans to use at home - Learn how to make kick arse coffee - Tips on how to make good espresso - Tips on how to spin that perfect silky milk - Learn how to make good coffee at home if you don’t have a coffee machine

I am a company director at Black Market Roasters, a specialty coffee roastery, and a certified Q Grader of specialty coffee. I taste and profile the flavour of new coffees and have years of experience in making, teaching and scoring specialty coffee. Franco is a head trainer with Black Market Training and teaches a variety of barista courses, from beginners to Latte Art. He has competed in barista championships and is well-versed in making and teaching specialty coffee. Our mission at Black Market Roasters is to educate people about specialty coffee and make it accessible for everyone.

We will host you in our newly developed training premises in the vibrant inner west of Sydney. We have plenty of machinery and space, so it is perfect for group coffee classes!
Unfortunately we do not have a lift, so guests must be able to walk up 1 flight of stairs.
