We will leave the dock at 6:30 PM (it is recommended guests arrive 15 minutes before departure time) then head out out onto the water until approximately 9 PM or when the sun sets (different times of year may call for different departure/arrival times. We can discuss this via phone or email before the trip). We will cruise the Eastside Cleveland shoreline until we reach the Cuyahoga River upon which we will head upstream through historic and beautiful Downtown Cleveland. During the trip you can expect to see early 1900's through modern architecture. Much of it was previously used in the shipping, manufacturing, and farming industries but has now been re-purposed for modern day. Some of the coolest things you will see are the numerous draw bridges we will encounter along the way. Some raise up, some swing open, and some are so big we can boat right under them. After about 45 minutes heading upstream we will turn around and head back to lake where you will encounter a gorgeous Lake Erie sunset as we cruise back to the dock.
I'm a licensed Captain through the United States Coast guard and a licensed guide through the state of Ohio. I have been a captain on Lake Erie for 5 years. I specialize in boat tours along the Downtown Cleveland shorline and upstream the Cuyahoga River. . I have lived in Cleveland for 28 years and my tours offer extensive knowledge on the architecture, wildlife, and curiosities you will see along the way. In my spare time I love to fish on Lake Erie and in Vermont, play music, and study the aquatic wildlife of Ohio, especially Cleveland and Lake Erie.
