Green market in the hearth of the old town gives you an opportunity to try some home made products like grappa, orange peels, dried figs, olive and lavender oil. After that walk along the sea near the small harbor to see where the shipyard was in the past with a quarantine . Dubrovnik was famous for trading around the Mediterranean , and when the ships were coming back in the time of plague any kind of diseases they had to stay in the quarantine for 40 days, an excellent way to stop diseases spreading through the town.
