I am Kosho, Japanese/Shodo calligrapher, with 13-year learning experience and obtained the grand master license in 2017. I work for a global company in Tokyo on weekdays and spend lost of time writing calligraphy and create artworks on weekend. One of my dreams is to spread Shodo's appeal around the world. How to write various characters, How to appreciate art pieces, How to relax while writing... It is a wonderful world filled with fun and exciting more than you expect. My work is submitted to the largest Shodo contest in Japan and exhibited at the major art museum in Tokyo every year.
The workshop is a rental meeting room, and you can concentrate on writing in a quiet space. The location is very convenient, close to Kichijoji Station, 3-miniute by walk. You can enjoy exploring Kichijoji town where is the most popular town to live in Kanto area after the lesson.
-wear casual clothes as ink is not easy to remove if you get spots on your clothes -please think about your favorite words or chainese characters that you want to write before workshop
