Meet at Starbuck's right next to La Comer in San Jose del Cabo. I will arrange for a driver to take you about one hour into the biosphere reserve. There is a changing room and toilet on site. We then take a short, medium difficulty hike down a trail to the river and hot springs, spotting endemic birds, reptiles and plants, surrounded by pristine Nature. Swim in cool mountain pools, soak in healing warm, mineral waters, relax, optional hikes, explore. We will be deeply immersed in Nature. We leave early to miss the hot sun and crowds. * There may be some hiking on small rock-filled paths. Optional rock climbing.
Snicker's bars, granola bars, cold water, apples, veggie snacks.

After 1.5 hour drive using a toll road, we enter eastern Baja Sur and cross the Tropic of Cancer. Soon after we enter the Sierra de la Laguna biosphere and proceed up a rustic but safe dirt road to the hot springs. I am a naturalist and will point out the amazingly diverse flora and fauna protected in the biosphere.
