Be aware of your breath and movements with your roots deep in the earth and your hearts closer to the sun. Gentle flow beach classes are suitable for everyone, regardless of your flexibility or level of fitness. The classes are creative and gently paced type of flow yoga, that brings balance to our body and mind. The movements are linked to the breath and classes are started with a number of sun salutations to warm and prepare our bodies for more intense stretching done towards the end of the class. The practice is gentle yet invigorating with plenty of modifications suitable for all levels. All classes include sun salutations, hands-on adjustments, pranayama (breathwork), and savasana (relaxation). All classes are taught in English. Yoga mats and props are provided. Duration 60-75 min.
My name is Tjasa, I'm a certified Vinyasa and yin yoga teacher. I've been teaching yoga and meditation and organizing yoga retreats on this beautiful island for over 6 years. I have trained in dynamic vinyasa, hatha and more recently yin yoga. For me yoga is a way of connecting to the divine, finding stillness, staying in the present, and feeling grounded and balanced. And what better place to do this than a sandy beach.

We will have our yoga session on a little sandy town beach sheltered from the wind and with views over Corralejo bay.

This is an outdoor yoga class, and we have to be prepared for all sorts of weather. Let's hope it's nice and sunny on the day of our practice.
