The group will meet in Old Town San Diego at Rockin' Baja Lobster, a notoriously fun Mexican restaurant! We'll sip our first tequila shot while enjoying chips and a full salsa bar!
The tour then takes us on a beautiful scenic walk. Guests' are encouraged to stop at some of the many store's to purchase souvenirs along the way.
Our next stop is high on the hillside, Old Town Tequila Factory, where we sample another shot of tequila AND enjoy a delicious fish taco on the rooftop patio with a beautiful scenic view that overlooks Downtown San Diego and the San Diego Harbor that gives that perfect backdrop for a selfie!
As the tour continues, we learn about the Whaley House, early California, grave sites, historical markers, and other Old Town facts as we pass them by on our way to our final stop.
Saving the best for last, the restaurant, bar and tequila museum El Agave. This is a top shelf tequileria and carries over 2,000 tequilas. Here, each guest treated to your OWN PERSONAL FLIGHT of tequila that is highly rated by the bar vendors while enjoying the fine dining establishment ending our tour!!

Nate was amazing! He was very personable and welcoming. He immersed us in the history behind tequila and was very interactive with our lifestyles regarding our alcoholic beverages. He made sure we all knew the history and knowledge behind our favorite tequilas while also introducing us to knew types of tequila. Not only did he give us the background of tequila, but also gave us a tour around the parts of SD that we came across. Definitely recommend this tour! Thanks so much Nate!

Nate was a great host & it was really fun to meet people visiting from all over the US. He has a lot of knowledge to share and I learned so much about tequila on the tour. Had a great time meeting Nate and the rest of the group!
Of the 3 stops, the tequila factory was by far the highlight! In addition to Nate, there was a tequila tasting host from the restaurant who did a presentation for us. The view was amazing, the fish taco was delicious, and the reposado with the orange/cinnamon was LIFE CHANGING!
Tips:
Eat before your tour! There is a fish taco included in the second stop, but by the time we finished up, we were starving!
This is a WALKING tour so wear WALKING shoes, it’s an uphill walk to the old town tequila factory.

Nate is a great host that cares about providing an immersive and exciting experience for his guests. He holds great conversation and has an excellent knowledge of the tequila process and history. He also has a great grasp on the history of Old Town San Diego. Nate takes the group to places that one may not think to visit if someone didn’t tell them about it.
I had a great time, and I’m really happy I booked this experience. Before the tour I hated tequila, now I have a new found respect and appreciation.
