I'll show you vast part of the historical city center with its numerous canals, amazing architecture, ruined but charming houses. We'll see corners of the city that tourists usually miss out as they are not indicated in travel books. Although I think those are important places to have full picture about the city. *We'll visit lovely old book store, where you get insight into Soviet period life and may find some unique examples of books, postcards and pins. *Then we'll head to the most beautiful train station that still keeps spirit of imperial times. *Local food market will surprise you with big variety of products even in winter and overwhelming fruits and vegetables choice in summer. We'll taste variety of pickled food, different sorts of honey, freshly-pressed oils. *We'll also have a coffee break in adorable chocolate store known for its unusual chocolate presentation and unexpected delicious flavours. *At the end of the tour I'll take you around New Holland island - local recreation area where you'll be able to stay for a lunch or dinner. ***CHRISTMAS FAIR*** within Christmas and New Year period, we'll visit christmas fair located in a quite unusual place. Don't miss it out!
I used to work as a travel consultant in St. Petersburg for last 5 years and I'm well aware of the highlights the city is famous for. However, as a passionate traveler I do realize that it's not only about visiting museums, but more about city spirit. St Petersburg got very unique atmosphere and I'm eager to share it with you, not as a guide but as a person in love with the city. Historical background is very important, but I'm not the one who would overload you with dates and names, my Experience is more like a story about city's past and its reflection in present.

Route of my tour pierces the city center from one end to another. I'll take you through the secret passages that locals usually use to avoid noizy streets. Expect to see both - spectacular and romantic places as well as "real life" corners.
