I grew up on stories of Cu Raoi Mac Daire and his conflict with the Red Branch Knights hero Cu Chullain. The story is great and the place is just as good. My family have lived in the area for generations and enjoy to share our knowledge of the area. I have a great interest in Archaeology and Geology and there is much to discuss in this area.
We will visit Cathair Con Raoi inland promontary fort and Caherconree Peak. We will have fantastic views on both side of the peninsula. We will be able to see Dingle Bay, Tralee Bay, Inch Beach, Maherees Peninsula, North Kerry and Magillicudy Reeks.
