We will hike Table Mountain along a route best suited to your fitness, interests and sense of adventure, preference given to off-the-beaten track routes that offer adventure as well as the best views. Along the way, we will share the mountain’s fascinating fauna, flora, history, geology and lore. You will learn what animals and plants exist only on Table Mountain, how the mountain came to be so flat, and much more. We strive to provide a safe, educational and fun experience where it's as much about getting to know the mountain and each other. We will gain the famous tabletop summit and spend time taking in the views before descending via cable car, if open; if closed due to wind, we hike down. We've guided thousands of people up Table Mountain on all the routes. We know the mountain like the back of our hands - every aspect of it: its moods, nuances, natural history and hidden gems. We hands-down offer the widest variety of Table Mountain hiking routes. Consistently ranked #1 OUTDOOR ACTIVITY IN CAPE TOWN by Trip Advisor for the past 6 years. We will hike up India Venster on the famous front of Table Mountain (or one of several other adventure routes off-the-beaten track). It takes a dramatic line through imposing rock-formations, offering stunning views throughout. We will finish on the famous tabletop summit. It's arguably the best half-day route to the summit and involves fun scrambles and some narrow ledges - nothing extreme. More challenging options and variations available.
Minimum group size for hike to go ahead: 2 people. Solo travellers: hike will be cancelled if no one else joins. If it's windy we might need to reschedule or hike down (an extra 2 hours and R300 pp).
