My two-hour guided bicycle riding tour around Sydney Olympic Park is for all ages, new and casual riders. I am a local with intimate knowledge of this area, its culture, and history. My role entails routing the tour, providing commentary, and seeing that everyone has a great time. I have created many amazing routes for this special bicycle tour that no one could figure out on their own. I will decide as we go what route best suits us on this adventure as we explore the area. You're welcome to have an input into this as well. I'm an advocate for enjoying the ride so we go at a comfortable pace factoring in everyone's abilities, and that is why I prefer to keep the group size as small as possible such as 1-4 people unknown to each other. Larger groups up to 20 are fine if booked privately. If you are needing to hire a bike at our meeting spot, please factor in their rates that change by each two hour period starting from $20. They provide a helmet as well.
I started Sydney Olympic Park bicycle tours in April 2018. Born in Sydney in 1984, I have a business degree (2012), tourism diploma (2010), certificate 4 in small business (2015). I operate my own travel business (Pocketbook Travel - est. 2014). Bicycle tours is one part of this multifaceted business idea I had while globetrotting. I love travelling and sharing stories with other travellers. Bike riding around this beautiful part of Sydney just makes it all the sweeter. See you out there!
Sydney Olympic Park offers some of the most scenic and safest bike paths in Sydney. Riding 8-35 km of cycle ways is a lot of fun and really easy going. Look out for a bird sanctuary, lakes, shipwrecks, water fountains, viewing towers, mangroves, brick pit ring walk, the Green and Golden Bell Frog's habitat, Stadium Australia, Olympic cauldron and Olympic torch, heritage-listed former Royal Australian Navy armament depot and so much more!
