Depart from Alicante to the village of El Catell de Guadalest, passing through the villages of La Nucia and Polop. Once you pass through the beautiful Guadalest village, you will visit the castle of Guadalest, a 11th century fortress created by Muslims, after a 1-hour drive in a comfortable van. From the top of the mountain, you can see the magnificent views of the valley surrounded by the mountains of Bernia and the Mediterranean Sea. Then you will walk through the many shops that offer handicrafts in the area. You can visit some of the most rare museums, including the Microminiatures museum, Shakers and Pepper Museum, Ethnological museum, Medieval Historical Museum, Microgiant Museum, Bicycle Museum Collection and more. Then we will visit the Fuentes del Algar, a series of beautiful waterfalls of crystal clear waters of the river Algar, be sure to bring your swimsuit as you can swim in the water plus swim shoes to walk on the river bed. You can bring your lunch and it in the picnic zone.

Guadalest is really a pleasant old town, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. It dates back to the 11th century, and has a small population, including many craftsmen. Fuentes del Algar are a fantastic waterfalls where you can swim in the waters of the algar river
there are lockers available for € 3 where they can keep their belongings while visiting the waterfalls. Bring beach shoes,towels, sunscreen and water.
