I'm a new company & rent gear from Everyday CA & coordinate our tours. Almost every weekend &/or holiday our tours are completely booked, even if the Experience states there's room. If you're interested & booking a few days before a holiday or weekend please message me first.
The La Jolla Ecological Reserve is the premiere snorkeling spot in California. To fully interact with all the amazing sea life in the Ecological Reserve, our kayak and snorkel tour is the only way to go. This tour is one of our favorites, so expect an unforgettable experience swimming with the leopard sharks, sea lions, bat rays, shovel nose guitar fish and sometimes dolphins and sea turtles. You’ll kayak around the reserve to find the best spot to snorkel. I'll drop anchor, secure your kayaks and help you have the time of your life snorkeling with the variety of marine life in the reserve.
Being able to swim is required for the kayak and snorkel tour and all participants must be at least 8 years old.
Other things to note
If you don’t see a time or day that works for you please let me know. I can be flexible on most days. Prepare to get wet & have fun. Check in 30 mins early. 10% City Tax collected at arrival. We donate to 1% For Planet & Greenwave on all bookings.

I am a San Diego native, yogi & marine science nerd. I have led countless kayaking, snorkeling & diving adventures all around San Diego. If I'm not in the ocean surfing, diving or snorkeling I'm near it weather it be exploring hidden sea caves at negative low tides, seeking tide pools, lobster hoop netting or educating myself all about it. We'll meet at Everyday California, they'll be providing us with our gear. They're located just blocks away from the La Jolla Shores Beach & the La Jolla Underwater Park & Ecological Reserve. The beach is approximately one mile long & stretches from the sea cliffs just north of La Jolla Cove to Black's Beach south of Torrey Pines State Park. We'll head to the kayak launching area in La Jolla Shores, a straight walk west from their store.

This was my first experience kayaking and snorkeling. It was well worth the try. Danielle was very insightful. It was a truly fun experience. Danielle and Gavin mentioned the possibility of seeing dolphins. It didn’t seem likely, but it happened. She was amazed at how close they came. The dolphins actually swam in between the kayaks in our group. It was a nice workout and a ton of fun.
