I have been living in Munich for more than 7 years, and still there is something new and interesting to discover here. I have worked professionally as a tour guide during this time and love sharing my passion for the city's unique culture with visitors from across the globe. Join me on a 2.5 hour walking tour of Munich's picturesque Old Town as we explore a thousand years of rich local history, touching upon medieval monks, myths and legends, Bavarian royalty, the dark days of WWII and most importantly, beer! From the vibrant Marienplatz at the heart of Munich to the lush oasis of the nearby Englischer Garten, we will explore historic side streets along the way, passing by 500 year-old cathedrals, opulent royal palaces and popular beer halls. I look forward to showing you around and explaining what makes this city so great!

Due to restrictions concerning Covid-19, group bookings cannot exceed 10 persons. All the tours include a fair amount of walking, so keep this in mind if mobility is an issue for you or members of your group.

As a former Journalist and Magazine Editor, I now focus on historical tours in and around Munich. I have hosted hundreds of general tours of this vibrant and interesting city. More recently I have run many tours with a focus on Third Reich history and the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site. As a licensed guide for the Dachau site, I offer guests extensive knowledge and understanding of one of the world's most tragic events and how this lesson from history is still very important to us today.
