I was born in Arezzo where I got an artistic high school diploma. I continued my studies in Florence where I graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. In the same city, I attended the Institute for Art and Restoration, specializing in Stone and Ceramic Restoration. My work at the Monuments and Fine Arts Offices of Tuscany has also allowed me to hone my skills in the restoration of frescoes and in the technique of gilding.

Arezzo is the ideal place to experience fresco painting. This is where one of the masters of the Italian Renaissance and genius of linear perspective, Piero Della Francesca, painted “The History of the True Cross”, a marvelous sequence of frescoes. This artist transferred his studies in mathematics and geometry to painting becoming the master of linear perspective. Year after year these frescoes attract many art lovers from all over the world.
Upon request, I can organize a guided visit in English to the “History of the True Cross” sequence of frescoes by Piero Della Francesca.
