We call ourselves Wild SF Tours, and are a few friends sharing our favorite spots in the city :) A screenwriter and director, Fischer’s craft has taken him to Cannes Film Festival to premiere one of his short films. He studied film and cinematography at SF State, and when not directing, pursues photography and food. Begin in Portsmouth Square, the hub of America’s oldest Chinatown. Taste dragon beard candy, then wash it down with boba milk tea. Eat at the first dim sum restaurant in America, followed by the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory, where cookies are made by hand. In North Beach, home to Italian restaurants with outdoor sidewalk seating, sample Tony’s and pop into a cafe for fresh cannoli. We end at a rooftop with an epic view of the city.
