Biking in Toronto is a ton of fun. I designed this tour to make you fall in love with the city - really! This ride shows you both essential sights and hidden gems, and the whole experience feels like you are on a casual ride with a local friend that loves telling stories. We even keep the groups sizes small for a more intimate, personalized experience. This intro tour covers awesome must-see spots - we ride along the Lake Ontario waterfront, past the CN Tower, through the University of Toronto, and down Graffiti Alley, home to almost a mile of murals and artworks where you'll want to snap lots of photos. My favourite part of the tour is Kensington Market, a bustling neighbourhood of ethnic food and vintage clothes shops! We'll stop along the way for a drink on us - currently we've be featuring delicious cacao drinks from the SOMA chocolate cafe. Everyone has been loving our Norco Scene bikes - they are super comfortable and so much fun to ride - this is now my own personal bike to ride around Toronto! If you've never taken a bike tour before, you are more than welcome. We stop every 10-15 min or so to hear local stories & info, check out public art, or snap photos. Join us to learn all about Toronto's multicultural success story!

I believe the best way to discover a city is on a bicycle - that's why I founded my company 'Fitz Tours' 10 years ago to show visitors & also locals around! You can see more of Toronto in less time on a bike, and its a wonderfully fun place to ride : ) If you aren't riding with me you'll be with Nathan, Victoria, or Carlos, and you will most likely meet my dad Dan at the bike shop while getting setup. We all adore meeting travellers from around the world and showing what we love most about Toronto. Together we'll experience the city in the most authentic way possible by bike, and have some great chats along the way : )
We'll stop for a refreshment on us - currently we are featuring the SOMA chocolate shop for some unique & delicious cacao or…
Comfy quality Bicycle You'll love riding these Norco Scene bikes with wide tires! Nice helmets are included as well.
Kick off riding laneways full of street art & murals in The Annex, the leafy University of Toronto campus, and the unique architecture of Grange Park. See the CN Tower & Skydome up close from Roundhouse Park. After the break is the Waterfront cruise on Lake Ontario with views of Toronto Islands, then a visit to photo-worthy Graffiti Alley, and finally a stop at Kensington Market full of ethnic food.
Arrive 15-20 min before the start of the tour to get setup on your bike. As long as you know how to ride a bike and are comfortable doing so in an urban environment, you'll be fine! No flip flops : )
