Skip the long museum lines and venture to see DC beyond the monuments on this photo-shoot experience. We will meet in one of my favorite local coffee shops to consult on style and vibe and set our game plan from there. Next we will head into the city towards our destination--it could be the eclectic uptown neighborhoods of Petworth and Columbia Heights, edgy NoMa and H street, or the classic tree-lined row homes of Eastern Market and Capitol Hill. Bring a playlist ready, props or accessories and I'll bring the creative director vibes. This experience is shared and can accommodate up to 3 strangers or friends! It's perfect for a solo traveler looking to meet new people, or a group of friends who want a unique memory of their trip to the nation's capital! Your portraits are an integral part of this experience. All your photos from our time together will be delivered to you at no charge via email within 2 days after the experience ends. Want a photo-shoot but this experience is not for you? Shoot me a message!
Camera I have my own camera and equipment, so all you have to bring is yourself and your best looks!
I am a freelance photographer with a deep passion for capturing portraits, street style and sharing stories. An avid traveler, I enjoy meeting those with a similar passion. My favorite travel adventures include couchsurfing in Granada, Spain and riding motorcycles to the beaches in Cotonou, Benin (among many others, feel free to ask). We start off at La Colombe coffee located within artsy Blagden Alley in Downtown DC. It's a 2-minute walk from the Green/Yellow metro lines, 10 minute walk from the Red or Orange/Silver/Blue lines and accessible via rideshare such as Uber or Lyft. From there, DC is our playground, and together we will choose what neighborhoods to use as our backdrop for the photo shoot.
