This authentic tour goes beyond downtown into Montreal's hip must-see 'hoods. Ride bike paths, quiet streets & laneways, spotting street art and cool pop-up events. The experience is like a casual ride with a local friend! Learn the stories of Montrealers and their culture - from musical heroes, to culinary icons, and the artsy resident folks that populate these 'hoods today. This tour lasts 3 hours with stops for city info, photos, and time to connect with your super-friendly local guide and other travellers during the break at the Jean-Talon Farmer's Market or over fresh from the oven Montreal Bagels from the famous St. Viateur Bagel shop (included in price)! Even if you have lived here for years you will discover something new. For those looking to see more of the main sights of Downtown and Old Montreal, check out our other Airbnb Experiences: Montreal's Essential Bike Tour, or our Bike & Spa Wellness Experience to combine your bike tour with a visit to Bota Bota Spa. Do both rides to really see it all! Both The Essentials and the Hoods & Hidden Gems leave at 10am and 2pm everyday.
Shea, Diego & Fitz
We are Shea & Diego and we'd like to introduce you to our company Fitz Tours. We offer 6 highly-rated experiences led by ourselves and the "Fitz Family" - this means you may be helped out by Veronique or Christian and hosted by one of our passionate local guides! They all have unique, friendly characters and are world travellers themselves. We've combined our passion and knowledge to offer top-notch bike & walking experiences here in Montreal - the kind we look for when we go traveling ourselves. We keep the groups small, the content upbeat, and hope you leave feeling like you were hosted by a 'friend for the day' - or longer. We'll show you the best art, architecture, urban development, nature, and local events & festivals, but we also aren't afraid to show you the grit, imperfections, and realities of what living in Montreal is like!
We'll offer you our Fitz MTL map, full of 99+ picks of our staff favourite places to eat, drink, catch live music, or hangout
Comfy quality Bicycle You'll love riding these Norco Scene bikes with wide tires! Nice helmets and baskets are included as…
We meet at Fitz & Follwell, home to our new Le Picnic Cyclecafe. We arrive in the hippest-of-hip artsy Mile-End (home of the Montreal Bagel, up for a sample?) before making our way to Outremont and Little Italy. Break time is at the open-air Jean-Talon farmer's market, the largest of its kind in North America!
