体験できること

This online class brings you into my kitchen, where I'll lead you through the steps it takes to make pizza dough from simple household ingredients. What begins as tap water, salt, yeast, oil, and flour (we'll work with whatever kind you have) soon becomes tender dough -- all you need is the right technique.

You don't need any fancy equipment to use this method. We'll mix our dough by hand so all you'll need is a large bowl and clean hands. If you have a kitchen scale we'll use that, otherwise we'll measure by volume. It's all about feel and I'll show you exactly what we're looking for at each point in the process.

While the dough rests, we'll talk about the chemistry and biology that's happening silently within. I'll explain different flour and yeast products so you get a better understanding of how dough works. It's all for the purpose of making the best pizza dough possible.

Your dough will be ready in a few hours, but it's much better 1-3 days later. I'll give you links to videos to help you stretch, top, and bake or you can sign up for another experience with me that teaches you how to stretch, top, and bake your pizza.

Scott was absolutely incredible. He's an expert in pizza and is knowledgeable about every topic, down from the nuances of the ingredients of pizza to the variability across climates and regions. I had the best time, and the two hours flew by. It was funny, engaging, and I learned a TON. Scott was very encouraging and really tailored the experience to how our dough was turning out. Plus, I can make some bomb pizza dough balls now. Highly highly recommend. One of my favorite Airbnb experiences ever.

I absolutely loved Scott's experience! After trying (and failing) several times to make pizza dough by following recipes, Scott helped me unlock the mystery of great dough and the experience delivered dough for four outstanding pizzas starting with just a few cups of flour. I've been making pizza dough for decades, but I've never learned the RIGHT way to make pizza dough! Scott is a funny, energetic, clear, expert instructor. This man knows his stuff - from the chemistry of yeast to all the right techniques for kneading and forming the dough. Unlike other online cooking classes I've taken, Scott was thorough in asking each participant to show him their dough and demonstrate their technique so that he could help everyone troubleshoot. He didn't just barrel ahead with his own beautiful dough when ours were tearing or sticking. He knew how to quickly diagnose each person's solution to getting their dough right - he clearly cared deeply about making sure we all had good outcomes. He was also super generous with his time - we asked a lot of questions and I think we went about 20 minutes over. I can't wait to bake these puppies in a few days. I already know he's transformed my ability to make the perfect dough! Thank you for a class that exceeded expectations, Scott!
