体験できること

We'll cover the history of flour milling in-depth and I'll clearly show how we got to the flour market available to us today. Then we'll delve into our current flour choices on the market and take a look at food labels from various markets together. I will also talk about the nutrition of flour and how to make choices that account for baking qualities + best nourishment. My goal is for you to find the flour you want for your perfect bread, so my job is to teach you what is available and how to make your own choices, rather than just tell you what to buy.

I have a home mill, so we'll briefly discuss home milling and how it's different than buying already milled flour.

I will leave time at the end of class to delve into questions I may not have covered, or ones that arise in the process of our time together.

I was intrigued about flour because of the many choices we have and it was a good experience learning from Adrian. I definitely have more knowledge than I did before about flour. Best part was going over the ingredients of the flour I already had at home and knowing more about it. If you're just starting bread baking or want to know more about flour in general, this is a good class for you.

I highly recommend this class to anyone and everyone! Adrian presents the history and origin of flour and wheat in a very fun organized easy flow from the beginning. Really fascinating to learn how everything connects and to understand exactly what one actually consumes using white flour vs wheat. Knowledge is definitely power! Adrian really knows her facts and is super friendly and forth coming with answers as well as resources. Thank you Adrian for your magnetic passion, inspiration, attention and time. I also appreciated your time super last minute to fit my schedule. :-)
