I booked a private group for a night-time tour. It was sad to see Venice so empty (due to coronavirus restrictions) but, all the same, Luca was very welcoming and took us on an informative, engaging tour. He was excellent at making the best use of technology with a steady camera and occasionally sharing pictures. My friends were all very complimentary about the experience. It was my first Airbnb online experience and I would be happy to book another.

Luca gave an awesome virtual tour of Venice for our family. I got it for my parents as a way for us to take a virtual "family trip" (since we can't travel or be together with the pandemic), and it was great. Luca had great facts about Venice, was funny, and made it feel like a personal experience. Best of all, he really does walk you around Venice. Not a knock against many of the other virtual tours I've seen, but this is cooler than watching someone click through a slideshow to take you on a virtual tour, which is what many of these experiences boil down to.

Wow! This was actually a TRUE walking tour, as Luca was streaming live with his phone as he walked the streets of Venice. The video and audio quality were excellent - and I was impressed at the steady camera work. Luca did an outstanding job sharing stories of Venice's history, and his own family's experience, as we "walked" with him alongside the canal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Venice with Luca. We organized the experience as a fun thing for us to do as a family given that we have been unable to travel to see each other in so long. Luca was fun and worked very hard to make sure everyone felt included and was able to participate as much or as little as they wanted. We joined him by a canal in central Venice in the late afternoon and he showed us around some well known parts of the city as well as some cool little 'nooks and crannies' that you probably wouldn't find with an average guide book. He was full of historical facts and stories e.g. he explained that the word quarantine originates in Venice after the 40 days of quarantine merchants and goods would need to go through in the middle ages after arriving in the city. Definitely a fun bit of escapism and an online experience that I'd highly recommend. And I will look Luca up and enlist his services as a guide if I can get to Venice at some point in the future.
