Welcome, everyone. Eleven years ago, I visited Barcelona and got so inspired by Pablo Picasso that, one year later, I decided to move to this beautiful city. You can come and visit my indoor or outdoor studio next to Gaudi's temple, the Sagrada Familia, and paint artwork in the style of Picasso. You won't be copying, but discovering the artistic part of yourself. Picasso is the ideal subject, as he was such a prolific and expressive artist. Through my method, I can make sure that everybody can paint a Picasso, even if you have zero painting experience. You will be amazed at what you can achieve.
After I graduated from the Art Academy in Maastricht, Netherlands, I was a teacher of art and art history in Amsterdam. I painted for an ex-master forger, where I studied the impressionists and expressionists, specializing in Picasso. I moved to Barcelona in 2007—discovering the city inspired me to create a brightly colored series of paintings that I will finish in 2020. Meanwhile, I teach art to children, and I am trained as a solution-focused coach.
Canvas, paint, and apron
On beautiful days, we will paint in my outdoor studio, where you will hear the Sagrada Familia bells. On cold or rainy days, we will paint in my cozy indoor studio.
As the studio is next to the Sagrada Familia, you can come by public transport—metro or bus—and it's a nice 20-minute walk from Plaza Cataluña and Las Ramblas.
