Join David, Jule, and Eden as we see the beautiful Scottish city of Edinburgh through the eyes of J.K Rowling. From her poor beginnings to a billionaire author.
Our tour is brilliant for solo travellers, families, birthday parties, children's parties, team building, and corporate events. For high profile events, ask about our premium tour.
First, we'll do our own Hogwarts House test for all the muggles. There will be a Harry Potter trivia competition between the houses, so all need to be sorted!
We'll then start our tour of Edinburgh using moving images to keep the action fluid and accessible to people will all internet speeds. We'll show you the places where J.K Rowling drew her inspiration, such as the school believed to be the inspiration for Hogwarts, the shops that found their way into Diagon Ally, the graveyard where she got her characters' names and much, much more!
Along the way, we'll tell you about the inspiration for some of the most loved characters, and we'll finish with the final quiz to see which Hogwarts house wins.
If there is a character you want to know more about, let us know! We also give extra house points to those who show up in costume.

A Half-blood Gryffindor, I was born to a British mother and a French father and therefore grew up between the two countries. I have a love for Edinburgh - a city full of history, secrets, and magic. I am delighted to continue working as an online guide and to bring together my passion for Harry Potter, art, and languages.

The best compliment I can give (as my first AirBnB online experience), is that David made me forget I was actually at home on a Zoom call. I’ve been fortunate enough to take many tours around the world, including Harry Potter tours, and this was just as fun and engaging as any other. David was fun and informative and gave a great flavor of Edinburgh mixed with some facts about Harry Potter I didn’t know. Would definitely recommend! I can’t wait to go see Edinburgh in person!

Die Tour mit Jule war super und interessant, durch die Harry Potter Quiz-Fragen hat das ganze wirklich Spaß gemacht, ich fand allerdings, dass alles sehr schnell ging und 1h sehr kurz war für die Führung, es hätte gerne auch 1,5h - 2h gehen können.
