Join me, on a Food Tour where we will experience the most classic cuban street food, delicious cuban dishes and tasty drinks. Learn about the evolution of our dishes, how we adapt to the difficulties of our times and the particulars way we buy groceries. It doesn’t matter if you are eating a street pizza (Italian but yet so different from the ones you have tried) a refreshing ice cream ideal for Havana’s weather, enjoying Malanga fríes or tasting a nicely roasted corn in the middle of the most popular location on the city, the authenticity of the context, would automatically add extra value. Is like tasting history as our cousin is also a reflection of the experiences we have lived as a country
Hey there I’m Alvaro I was born and raised in Cuba, and I’m deeply in love with my country. I study history and sociology in Havana University and I currently work as the CEO of my travel agency here in the island. I will love to show how amazing cuban culture is when you are leaded by a local EXPERIENCED GUIDE. I also have been working with LGBTQ community as an activist. I try to connect visitors with Cuba by giving my best tips and sharing my experience about this country and show how amazing it can be with good guidance. That’s why I decided to join Airbnb experiences, to connect with travelers in order to have the best time in our beautiful island. You can check my content at @manguitotravels
We will walk by San Lazaro street and then Old Havana Visiting food stands, Cuban markets, and hidden locations.
