Known in its past as the Paris of the Caribbean, Havana is a city where elegance and decadence are mixed. Its streets look like a huge set used by prestigious brands for photo shoots. In this experience, I want to unveil the shopping local culture and the hidden places of fashion in a country apparently attentive in time, and offer a shopping excursion that at the same time allows us to enjoy the history of this magical city. We will visit the main state stores popularly known as "trapishoppings," which remain outside the tourist circuits. In them you can find a mix of second-hand clothes at very low prices, home products and other appliances. We will pause to refresh ourselves in a fashionable bar and we will finish the tour visiting one of the very first stores run by private owners. My main objective is that you can have an authentic cuban shopping experience and contrast the private sector with the state one.
Welcome to my Cuban shopping experience. I am passionate about vintage clothing and the things with history. I am a publicist and PR professional, and I have worked the last five years with a well-known Spanish fashion brand. I am also bringing up my three-year-old son. My swings in Havana have ended in a definitive transfer in this extravagant capital and that never ceases to amaze me. Do not hesitate to message me before the day and let me know if you are looking for something special to purchase.
We will meet at Central Park and, after breaking the ice, we'll visit the main state clothing stores. We will go to Sant Rafael Street, and continue through Galiano. After that we will take a break to refresh ourselves in a fancy cafe next to the Capitolio. We will finish the tour visiting one of the first stores run by private owners.
