What a wonderful experience! Lucy and Yanaisy were so patient with us as we learned a few basic rhythms. It was fun to hear it all come together with another person playing the claves. They also took precautions and we washed our hands carefully before touching the drums. You can tell they have a lot of passion about the music, and I'm happy we got to share this experience. I recommend you try it! Their apartment is in the middle of Old Havana and quite beautiful. We were served a fruit drink and coffee too - very nice touch!

Lucy and all her musicians are amazing. My 13 year old son enjoyed the drums a great deal. We actually had salsa lessons with Lucy earlier in the week and it was a special experience to be in her home with so many talented people. Thank you!

what an awesome experience this was!! Lucy, Yanaisy and Koreano are special people. We were able to connect through music in a special way, we even ended up dancing, hilarious.
I have always been passionate about music, and this was an awesome opportunity to learn some new techniques, very simple class, easy to follow, easy to memorize. We came home to teach our kids with a clave we bought in one of the souvenir stores.
All of them are experts in music, it was so much fun to see how they come together at the end of the class to make a real Cuban son. I recommend this class to beginners, experts or anyone looking to learn son, salsa or just to have awesome conversations. Coffee was delicious Lucy. thank you all. We will take our kids one day.

This was an incredible learning experience. They were very welcoming and informative. They were patient with us as we have no musical background (or rhythm lol). Their level of expertise is showed throughout the class. you will definitely leave knowing more about the influence of music as it relates to Cuban culture. Throughout the city we were able to hear the music and identify the sounds we just learned to play. I highly recommend this class it is located in old Havana.

Lucy was very welcoming. When she heard it was my birthday she and Coriano sang to me and gave me flowers. The lesson was challenging and fun. I recommend this experience. This gives a good appreciation of the skill and talent of the Rumeros.
