Modra is a town of wine & ceramics, town of national revivalist, writers, poets, painters, cosy cafés and delicious ice-cream. I have five years working experience in a travel agency, five years experience in the cruise industry and it will be my third season running my own local tour agency. I own tour guide licence, hiking instructor licence and wine tasting certificate. But mostly I 'm passionate about the Small Carpathian Region. For the return journey we recommend a bus that runs every 20 minutes to the main bus station in Bratislava from the centre of Modra. There are good restaurants and cafés in Modra so we do recommend to spend at least half a day in Modra.
