I am quite flexible in terms of the learning experience. I will provide a list of few dishes which can be cooked in a live set up (in my own kitchen, of-course). I will buy all the ingredients required to to cook the traditional dishes/food. Some dishes require overnight soaking of few ingredients (such as rice, pulses/lintels etc) and some do not. The final list of dishes can be discussed before hosting the experience as the list depends on the availability of seasonal vegetables. I will share some sweet memories that I have had with my parents and grandparents and the interesting stories behind some of the traditional dishes. The experience will also include using freshly prepared spices and pastes (ginger,garlic, chilies, tomato puree etc) and therefore require more time with me. You would need between 3 to 5 hours if you want to learn from scratch. We will cook one breakfast, one main meal and one dessert in this cooking & learning experience. I firmly believe that a tasty dish is a result of good quality of ingredients as well as cook's own passion, affection, love and peace of mind.
I am expert in cooking traditional Indian vegetarian food. My family members, friends and guests have always praised me for the tasty food I have cooked for them. The traditional food that I cook is learnt and inherited from my grand parents and parents. I want pass the tradition to the next generation and others who are keen to learn the old tradition of Indian food. I am passionate about trying out new dishes and keep looking for such opportunities where cooking experiences of other can be learnt and can be used to prepare some new dishes. The place to cook these amazing dishes will be my kitchen and I will arrange all the required ingredients. I am pure vegetarian and do cook only vegetarian items (no eggs, no meat). I do have a beautiful garden at the back where we can have some time to relax if a nice weather allows us to do so.

Please give me a notice of two days to host this experience. Please wear clothing that is comfortable. In the actual cooking experience, we will prepare one starter, one main meal and one dessert. You will also be able to take home (or eat here) some portion of the dish cooked by you.
