When you hear “Kobe”, you will imagine of beef or port. However there is plenty of beautiful nature, and mixture of various cultures from abroad with interesting history. I was born and raised in Kobe, and I really like this town. I want you to see Kobe’s charms from mountain side to seaside. We meet in Shin-Kobe station walk around the area including waterfalls and unknown view spots about 40 min to 60 min(It depends on weather and my guest. It is not hard hiking, so just come in casual clothes). Then head toward port via Kitano-cho, which was an former foreign residences from Meiji era, 1800 years old shrine called Ikuta shrine, oldest mosque in Japan(if you interest in), top three major China town in Japan, former foreign settlement, a nostalgic shopping street, some pretty interesting spots but not well known for tourists. At last, you see wonderful Kobe pot view. ※If you would like to change dates and times, please let me know your availability. I will change the plan as much as possible.
I was born and raised in Kobe. I quit my job in my mid-twenties, and then I have traveled to over fifty countries for one year seven months. After my long travel to abroad, I’ve gotten be able to understand foreigner’s point of view. Since I came back to this town, I often visit to various places of this Hyogo prefecture (especially Kobe and Himeji) to rediscover the fascination of my home town more. l can introduce both major spots and local haunts.

We start from Shin-Kobe, then head toward to a seaside from a mountain side. ◇Hiking 40-60min (Water falls, View spot, etc) ◇Town 60-120mim To Kobe port from mountain side(Kitano Ijinkan, China town, foreign settlement, nostalgic shopping street)
We will hiking a mountain little, but just come in casual clothes. Please be careful not to eat too much before start hiking.
