Our journey starts in Fishermen's Wharf, then we head to Union Square, named after the Union Army, as the day kicks off with a drive in the heart of the city. We will climb in my classic VW and travel through seven districts. We'll make stops at Coit Tower, Palace of Fine Arts, Golden Gate Bridge, and Twin Peaks, for a total of 30 miles—48 kilometers—and 14 districts. While we're driving, you will learn about the history of San Francisco from the earthquakes to the hippie movement that shaped the city as a whole. The day will have plenty of photo opportunities to see the landmarks that shine once the sun is down. See San Francisco the way it is meant to be!
Come have a blast with the team behind Vantigo, Erik, Eliza, Zachary, Chad and Chris. They've been in love with Volkswagens and San Francisco since crossing the Golden Gate Bridge. You cannot beat climbing the hills in a classic VW (or cheering one on). One of our favorite things is to show people around the city, including the little nooks and crannies. If you want to learn about beer, San Francisco, wine, or VWs—We are always up for the conversation.
