I will take care of the posing and lighting. All you have to do is sit there and relax while we take a portrait that will last generations with photographic equipment from the 1800s. After the portrait we will be able to experience the fixing process together and see the image come to life right before our eyes turning the image from a negative to a positive directly on a metal plate. A true Tintype portrait.
Other things to note
The maximum amount of people in one picture is 2. There is no additional fee so just select 1 when booking and you can tell me whether the portrait is with one or two people. NO PETS.

I have been a professional photographer for 12 years. The Wet Plate Collodion photographic process stems from the 1850s(before film) making handmade photographs with real Silver directly on a piece of metal, the same way Abraham Lincoln was photographed.

This was a super cool experience. Myron explains his process and you get to see it live. I highly recommend this unique experience to anyone looking to have something to pass down to generations.

My husband and I were were bowled over by the portrait Myron took. He took his time getting the lighting just right and helped us capture the vintage look we trying to attain. The development process was impressive as well. While he finished preparing the image, we visited the adjacent shops. His studio is located in a older motel that has been transformed into a series of hip storefronts with a welcoming courtyard greenspace. Many thanks to Myron for a wonderful experience and we really can't recommend this experience enough.

What a great experience! This was my first introduction to tin type photography. Myron was able to explain everything during the process, it was so interesting and fun. After I got to watch this amazing photo develop in front of my eyes, I was able to take it home—what a special keepsake!

My experience with Myron was absolutely incredible from his personable nature to his meticulous process/love of his craft. I proposed a concept I wanted to shoot and he was so accommodating allowing me to be creative. He executed lighting, posing, collaborated on direction, set up very specific chemistry and developed the wet plate (tin type) in his personal darkroom; He truly is an artisan. This is a truly antique process requiring so much effort on Myron’s part- the price point is incredible and such an amazing deal when you see the laborious process in action. Thank you for your craft and the love you put into your work, Myron. My photographs are one of a kind!

What a unique and fun experience! It’s such a rare opportunity to get a photo taken on Tintype. I learned that each photo was one of a kind and would outlast me. I’m so excited to finally have my photo taken by such a talented artist. Definitely recommend to someone who is interested in photography or just having a nice photo of themselves by a professional photographer.

What an experience! First of all, Myron’s studio is awesome and is located in downtown Las Vegas. It’s in a new renovated area that is surrounded by interesting sights to see. I really enjoyed seeing this part of downtown Las Vegas. The entire photo process was fascinating! I am not a model by any means but Myron made me feel comfortable and helped with posing to get the shot. You can tell that he has taken the time to learn this unique way of taking photos and perfected it. He is an amazing photographer! I have never heard of tintypes before but I am glad that I went with this experience. It’s unique but also timeless! Myron showed me examples of tintypes from the 1800s and they still look immaculate. I love that I have a tintype photo that looks like a piece of art that will last forever. He suggested that I write my name and the date on the back so that future generations would know who I am and I'm going to do just that. Thanks for this awesome experience!

Formal clothing translates well with this process, particularly clothing with texture and even accessories. Anything red will look black(lipstick). Blue eyes tend to lighten up wonderfully.
