This is a great experience for anyone, whether you are vegan or not, or you are simply curious about new take on Scottish home cooking. Or, like me, you are just hungry for some plant-based deliciousness and good company! After a short introduction and getting to know each other a little bit - with a glass of wine or soft drink. We will start our meal preparations for this unique take on traditional Scottish cuisine. The objective of the evening is to create homemade food with a difference, and that is: no animal products are used in the cooking process. We will then get busy with peeling, chopping, frying and stewing all the fresh produce and more for our four course dinner. The food we get to enjoy is so hearty and flavourful- just like Scots themselves! Our menu: Appetisers: Vegan smoked "salmon" with cream cheese served on an oatcake finished off with seaweed caviar. Cock-a-Leekie - otherwise known as "Scotland's National Soup". Main course: Haggis, Needs and Tatties with peppercorn and whisky sauce. Dessert: Cranachan -sweet Scottish dessert made with oats, raspberries and cream. As this is a Scottish experience guests will also get a chance to taste a wee dram of a single malt Scotch whisky. We will then sit around the table and have a chance to indulge what we have just created. Why not come and enjoy relaxed Scottish dinner with a twist - no cleaning involved!
I'm a Polish - born, down to earth food lover, who settled in beautiful Scotland. Since changing my diet to plant - based, I became a person keenly interested in food, both eating and cooking. And since my first time stepping foot here, I fell in love with this unique country, and had a chance to get to know Scottish cuisine too. As a result, I have decided to combine these two things and offer you an unusual experience of Scottish traditional home food - vegan style. I want to share my passion for hospitality, delicious food that's good for health, senses and our planet. From professional point of view, I graduated from Academy of Hotel Management and Catering Industry, and have spent many years working in this business. I also took my time to travel and follow my dreams, learning languages and expanding horizons. Welcome to Scotland!

The experience takes place in my kitchen and dining room in the centre of Glasgow, in the neighbourhood of Glasgow Cathedral and Strathclyde University. We will meet near High Street train station which is just 2 minutes away from my place.
The guests are welcome to bring other drinks if they would like to. I recommend to wear comfortable clothes, shoes and bring the smile on your faces, we will have really good time!
