We’ll go on a beautiful 3 hour hiking experience exploring the Colorado outdoors. As a local expert, people can ask me questions about the flora, fauna and history of things we'll see along the way. On some parts of the hike you will have to use your hands while climbing rocks. We will hike through dense forests, enjoy the beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains and admire the majestic Flatirons. We will enjoy a scenic picnic in nature at one of my favorite spots along the way.
I'm a local Boulderite who loves the outdoors and everything Colorado has to offer. I've lived all over the world and got myself into interesting adventures, but as soon as I arrived to Colorado 13 years ago, I immediately knew I was home. Here in Boulder, the mountains are our backyard and my friends and I love exploring and adventuring its beauty every chance we get. The forest and mountains are our entertainment, gym, therapist and social venue all at the same time. I am curious by nature and I'm always looking to deepen and enrich my hiking experience so over the years I organically learned about the flora, fauna and local history of what's around me. I love meeting new people and sharing this knowledge while learning from them about their lives and perspectives.
We will provide a hearty picnic.
We will provide crampons with micro spikes that improves traction while hiking on ice.
We will meet at the Chautauqua Dining Hall in Boulder and will hike up through a beautiful meadow, a dense forest and colorful sandstone formations to reach the top. Along the way we will enjoy some of the best views overlooking Boulder and the surrounding plains. When we reach the top, we will marvel at the peaks around us which some are 14,000 feet high.
