This is a 2- hour food and shopping experience.
after a small brief of the history of the island i will take you to 7 different local food stop's, each place will be unique and delicious, the real flavor of Mexican food.
as a plus the tour end up with an artesanal ice cream and a tequila tasting.
The pick up it's on the Rafael e. Melgar avenue, in front of the fiscal pier, beside the palmeras restaurant.
Other things to note
The Food its NOT SPICY! , and we have many vegetarian options if you required.

I definitely describe myself like a HUGE foodie lover, I used to live in the island so i really know where The Good ONE'S are, im one of those guys that really enjoy to show up the gorgeous places around here; Mexican and proud of my mayan roots. Consider myself lucky for all the great variety of delicious food that we have here.
Just to calibrate, my paladar its very picky and well trained during all my life for doing this job.

We will visit the small vendors on the street, that you normally would avoid for the single reason that you maybe don't even know about how to ask for it or if the food its good or not.
However this are the perfect places to give you an authentic point of view of the Mexican cuisine.

We had a nice time - meeting up with Mauricio was easy, and we then went to a local shop for a fruit drink, followed by 3 other stops where we each had a taco. We got to see the non-touristy side of Cozumel, and Mauricio was very accomodating. However, I did feel like with a knowledge of Spanish and a day to explore using yelp or tripadvisor, we would have found many of these places by ourselves.

If you are a 'germaphobe" this may not be the tour for you. Much of the food is prepared in front of you and no one wears gloves. The up side is, the food is excellent and no one got sick. (I never get sick in Cozumel) Gave us additional places to eat while on the Island
