Milan is a city made of Italians from everywhere in Italy. Here you can find the best dishes and street food from all over the country. In this food tour, you will start trying the most famous panzerotti, a kind of fried pizza from the region of Puglia next to the incredible Duomo cathedral. Next, we are going to explore Brera, a famous and artsy neighborhood full of delis and bakeries. From there, we will have a tasty pizza al taglio from Rome and also the famous focaccia from Liguria. Just after, we will have a seat in a cozy salumeria to enjoy a massive table full of bread, toast, vegetables and the best cheese, salami, and ham from Emilia-Romagna. All of that together with a glass of the delicious house wine. After enjoying this feast, we will enjoy the delicious Canolli from Sicily in the best place to have it in the city together with the authentic Italian espresso. Finally, we will visit the best and most complete grocery store in town, a place full of typical food and beverage from local producers from everywhere in Italy. Definitely, the best place in town to buy some Italian specialties to bring home.
I left my engineering job in the construction sector in Brazil to come to Italy to study Innovation & Entrepreneurship. In the last three years living and studying in Milan, I've been in love with Italian food, especially street food and pastries. My passion is discovering local unique bakeries, delicatessen and pastry shops where I can try new tastings that could give me a flavor of each part of Italy.
