You will be greeted by me at my restaurant bar. It’s a nice and cozy bar when we open at night but I would like to invite my guest only to my restaurant bar. First I will explain about the ingredients. I will hand you recipe. Then guest will wash hand and mix the flour. I will explain what to do step by step to the guest. Once we all finish making the takoyaki, it is the time to eat. It will be a great way to start the day with learning how to make takoyaki our soul food. Then in the afternoon if you have time, I would like to take you to nearby shrine. It is famous shrine called Ikuta Shrine which is loved by local people. Only 7 minutes walk from my restaurant bar so I am sure you will love it.
I have been working at Takoyaki restaurant as a chef for over 10 years. I have gained experience throughout workout as the takoyaki chef. Takoyaki has been soul food of Osaka area and #1 popular food in the region. More popular then sushi. I have been teaching how to make takoyaki to my foreign national friends and they told me that I should start teaching takoyaki. I would like to spread the love of takoyaki to as many people as possible. We have pride in takoyaki culture.

The guest will come to my restaurant bar first. After we finish cooking and eating, we will visit Ikuta Shrine.
If you have food restrictions or if there’s something you don’t like, please let me know in advance. As for regular takoyaki, we normally use boiled octopus, green onion, pickled ginger, eggs, wheat flour, green sea weed, tempura crisps, bonito soup to make takoyaki. It’s not vegan, not gluten free.
