I enjoy sharing information about culture, language, gastronomy or my adopted city, Madrid. I am an ex-pat and have been living in Spain for over 10 years. I love trying new things—especially food, and I have searched the city high and low to find the best breakfast treats the city has to offer. Walking around a new city is the best way to experience life like the madrileños do, and I know guests…
We will walk through two of Madrid's most vibrant neighborhoods and try both savory and sweet breakfast offerings while learning about the culture and lifestyle of the locals and exploring things to do in the city during your trip. The tour takes place off the beaten path and helps guests discover things that they won't find in guidebooks.

We will visit four places with different atmospheres and sample foods that are typical of the "second breakfast" here in Spain, including the well-known "churros con chocolate", Spanish tortilla, and an award-winning bakery that is loved by locals. As an old tourism slogan says, "Spain is different" and so are the breakfast choices, so you are bound to find something new! Alternatives available upon request for those with special dietary needs
