We will walk down little calli( the venetians word for alleys) to discover the Peggy Guggenheim museum, palaces full of history and charm, small art galleries to arrive at Punta della Dogana one of the best spot in Venice to take pictures with the St. Mark's square in the background. After that I'll show you the squero the tipical gondola's factory explaing you the way they are still built. We will finish our walk enjoing a wine and some cicchetti (venetians tapas) in one of the most famous and historic place of Dorsoduro.
ciao! I'm Clementina a true venetians. I'm graduated in fine art, I'm a painter and I love art and history. I like to take pictures and traveling, we are a population of traders and sailors. One of my favourite places here is the beautiful library Querini Stampalia where I spend a lot of time reading books especially about the history of my beautiful city! As every good italian I love food and good wine and I'm a sommelier too. I like to take long walks early in the morning or late in the evening when the city is almost completely desert.

Dorsoduro is the posh and more artistic district of Venice due to the Academy of Fine Arts and the university that have brought to live here famous painters and contemporary artist. In Dorsoduro you can find the best art Galleries, stunning spots all surrounded by little old churches and monuments. Here you'll see the real Venice. Furthermore this is the area where I've spent my youth attending the Academy of Fine Arts.
