We also have Puddin', a 27 year old retired track pony. His job was to lead the race horses in the post parade, before and after the race. I have spent over 40 years training and caring for racehorses on and off the track. We had a lot of success on the race track that included 10 consecutive years starting horses in the Kentucky Derby, that included 2 Derby winners. In 2009 I founded the Thoroughbred Horse Show Association that developed horse shows at the Kentucky Horse Park exclusively for horses that had recently retired from racing, to give them experience to start a second career. In 1985, I founded ACORD, American Competition Opportunities for people with Disabilities. We developed horse show competitions for people with special needs, mentally, physically, and psychological, to help them prepare to compete in the 1996 Para olympic games. I have spent my entire life with horses in one form or another and love to share the horses and my experiences with others
