I'm Vinay, I was born and raised in India and I have lived and worked in Singapore and the UK. I love travelling and inflicting myself on people, so I quit my slightly boring tech job to start Gully Tours. I would love to show you around the cool neighbourhoods of Kochi, share some interesting trivia and some great food. That's the plan on every tour! Gully Tours happens to be one of India's first walking tour companies, the Walk would be led by me, Bala, Aathil, Ajith, Prem, Bilahari or Radha!
We will be stopping for a local South Indian Breakfast on the tour.
We will have chai (tea) from a local shop - Chaya Kada. We will provide bottled water.
We will be providing Btwin My Bike Hybrid Bicycles without gears. We will be cycling around the city over flat terrain.
We will be providing helmets for bicycles.
We'll start the tour at the 500-year old Vasco House in Fort Kochi and we'll cycle around the town and watch the fish auctions, early morning sights in parade ground and Fort Kochi Beach. We will then explore Kochi through its narrow alleyways and discover the different neighbourhoods and the communities that live there. We'll then cycle through the Jew Town, the Spice Bazaar and visit a Spice Warehouse and end the tour at the starting point.
