Throughout my life, growing up in The Bahamas and traveling around the world, I developed an appreciation for seeking out authentic experiences through food and culture. Inspired to share my own country’s cuisine, I launched Tru Bahamian Food Tours in 2012 on a mission to connect visitors with Nassau’s most locally adored foods. The incredible things that make our island nation one-of-a-kind is what I want to share with you on this walking food tour of historic downtown Nassau. You could call me a passionate foodie but you have yet to meet our team of local experts and tour guides: Anna, Murray, Will, Ron, Mark, Lisa, and Princess. They’ll wow you with their vast knowledge of Bahamian history, culture and food traditions while leading you throughout the city to various tasting locations for unforgettable and distinctly Bahamian fare.
