We will meet in my favorite cafe called “Cafe ArtySana”. An eclectic coffee shop decorated with art from local artisans, this is the perfect environment to create your very own work of wearable art. I'll explain a bit about my design process and share a few tips and pointers so you can get the best out of your painting experience. Each person will have their own handmade, blank canvas passport cover that I have personally designed, hand cut and sewn for you. The cover includes 2 pockets on the inside to carry not only your passport, but also tickets, receipts, cards etc. We will be painting either a map of the world, or a map of a place special to you. I will guide you through the entire process from sketching your map, mixing your colors, to painting it. This is your time to relax, sip some Spanish wine and channel your inner Van Gogh while creating a special gift for yourself or someone else. Join me for a unique experience to commemorate your visit to Valencia, Spain! Hope to meet you soon! Live Colorfully <3
I'm Allison and I love all things art, fashion, travel & wine! I've combined them together to create a fun, unique and tasty experience for you to enjoy during your visit to Valencia! I am an artist and textile designer and have been hand making and painting wearable art for almost 10 years. During this time I have lived and worked as an artist in Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain and Ireland just to name a few. I am excited to share my passion for art and travel with you and make a one of a kind hand painted splatter map passport cover to commemorate your visit to Valencia, Spain! We will spend our time together in my favorite cozy coffee shop called Café ArtySana, where we will have a special place reserved just for us. Located in the Rusafa neighborhood right near the train station, you’ll pass by artists studios, eclectic cafes and lively tapas bars enjoyed by both the local and international community. This once transitional neighborhood is now a colorful hotspot for food, culture and the arts.
