Would you like to taste and learn more about Parma famous food products in a convenient and enjoyable way? Join my tour and savour every moment of your stay in Parma! Meet me at 9:20 am in Piazza Garibaldi (Parma main square). I will drive you to a small Parmigiano Reggiano cheese dairy and tell you everything about this delicious cheese. You will witness every step of its making, from the extraction of the curds until the aging rooms where more than 4000 cheese wheels are resting. After a rich tasting of Parmigiano Reggiano of different aging times matched with local wine, we will travel through the beautiful Parma hills and reach a Parma ham producer. Here I will guide you through the ham “journey” from fresh meat to sweet slices of Prosciutto di Parma, thanks to years of meticulous work... tasting will be a real treat! I will take you to a traditional countryside restaurant for lunch so you can try the best of Parma cuisine. Last but not least, we will travel towards Reggio Emilia to discover the “black gold”. We will visit a local production house where traditional balsamic vinegar ages for up to 25 years and come back to Parma around 5 pm. I will be driving you around for the entire duration of the tour and you will join a group of 6 people maximum, so that I will be able to share with you all my enthusiasm for my tasty city.
