Come and breathe and move together to start our day with the sun on our back, the wind in our hair and the sound of the ocean supporting us! One hour offering made up of a combination of sun salutations, asana, chanting, meditation, conscious movement & breath by the sea. After practice there will be the option to do breathing exercises together in the cold sea water aka jumping in the sea! And then you are welcome to enjoy a coffee and a pan con tomate at our wonderful local Catalan café a few hundred meters away - a jewel in itself! See you on the pier with the birds, the wild cats, the rising sun, the waves and the fresh sea breeze awakening our senses! The more wildness we expose ourselves to, the more wildness we discover in ourselves!
I’m a 800hr certified Jivamukti teacher from South Africa and believe yoga is a gateway to experiencing the feeling of ubuntu... I am because you are; Umuntu Ngumuntu Ngabantu. I have been traveling around the world teaching yoga, and sharing my first book Butterfly Man. I hope to be able to create and share inspiring experiences with people to spark new ways of being. I have decided to make Barcelona home and would love to create a space for people to come together to learn, laugh and support each other.
I am happy to provide mats if needed. Please let me know if you don’t have one.
We will be doing the class at the Espigo Del Gas pier right into front of Hospital Del Mar, Restaurant Arenal and the outdoor gym. The pier takes us right into the ocean to experience the full effect of being in nature at this most magical time of the day
18歳以上の方5名まで参加できます。 It’s outside in nature with people and animals being as they are. So expect anything from fishermen, fitness people, the occasional drunk person to wild cats and pigeons! It’s real life!
I will be there from 7am. So come anytime from 7! There are outside showers close by and I will be offering breathing exercises in the ocean after practice so if you want to do any of these bring a towel and a change of clothes! Also a warm top or a blanket for shavasana are great options!
