I'll guide you through 6 or more wines from our current release range as well as rare and museum wines that cannot be tasted elsewhere. As a group, we'll look at each wine individually; what makes it unique, how vintage conditions have shaped the wine and how bottle age has further refined them. This is an exclusive opportunity to taste some of our award-winning wines at a stage in their development that very few people get to experience them.
Wine Cheese and charcuterie boards to accompany
Join Glenguin Estate's viticulturist and cellar door manager, Phil Jones, as he takes you through current and museum wines by the fire in our Broke Wine Region Cellar Door. Living on the Estate, Phil lives and breathes Glenguin making him the perfect guide to go through our current release wines, as well as rare and back-vintage wines alongside cheese and charcuterie boards to accompany the tasting. Our tastings are an all-inclusive experience and we encourage our guests to offer your opinions or ask any questions you may have about the wines, the estate and our winemaking techniques.
The Big Room at Glenguin Estate is more reminiscent of the great cellar doors of Italy than the normal Australian version. Our tasting room has a central Western Australian Jarrah dining table used for our normal tastings, but for this experience please join us by the fire place on the custom leather couches, sink in and enjoy the evening.
The Broke Wine Region is home to several other amazing cellar doors and has some fantastic accommodation offerings. See http://brokefordwich.com.au for more details.
