When guests arrive they will most likely meet my two friendly cats. From there we will walk to the barn and meet the chickens, turkeys, Alpacas and Angora Goats. After visiting with all the animals we will invite the Alpacas to go walking with us. The goats might go too. We will walk through the fields on the property including one where our flower field grows during late Spring, Summer, and early Autumn and our honeybees are busy doing bee things. After an easy 20 minute walk we will return to the barn and thank the animals for walking with us. Afterwards if guests are interested in our farm store, they are welcome to shop for honey from our bees, yarn from our Alpacas and Angora Goats and other textiles made from the animals fiber.
As a textile artist and animal lover, Alpacas and Angora Goats are a perfect fit for my life! I love spending time with my animals and enjoy sharing that with others. I take my animals for walks and sometimes friends join me. I see such joy in their faces when walking with the Alpacas. I would love to share that experience with you too.
We will provide halters and lead lines for walking the alpacas.
You will be visiting my home/farm. We are in-between Longwood Gardens and Philadelphia with many great museums. Our town Media has many great restaurants to try.
At all times I am aware of how the animals are reacting and how the humans are reacting. I will provide gentle guidance on how to walk your alpaca. Sometimes we will need to trade alpacas or possibly even let the alpacas walk freely with us not on their lead.
