This experience will be like a get-together with friends, so come as you are! I’ve been living in Oslo for three years now and have grown to love and interest myself in this city quite a lot. I know the city very well and there are a lot of good things and places yet undiscovered in Oslo for visitors - and I want to change that! Let go of the commercial stuff and discover the hidden gems! I will show you around the east part of town, the beautiful details of the urban neighborhoods, places and spots that you must see when in Oslo - from my perspective as a young adult! And all these places are so idyllic and instagram-friendly, which is a plus right? Bring a camera to capture the moments for your travel-journal! It will be a lot of walking, but that’s one of the best ways to discover Oslo, in my opinion! And the trip will approximately take up to 2.5 hours. But there will definitely be little breaks if wanted. I would love for you to feel the atmosphere of how it is to be a local and do just regular things like the youths in Oslo do! Please, join in on this trip as we capture candid moments together as locals in Oslo!
I'm a Bachelor Student at the Uni of Oslo and has been living in this lovely city for 3 years now. I'm originally from the West-coast of Norway, Voss. I'm very interested in travelling, culture, food, blogging, plants and sustainability! Since moving here I have grown to love Oslo and I proudly call it my city, because it is so beautiful and full of hope, possibilities and creativity! I adore showing the city from my point of view as a young adult in this innovative city of Oslo! And I love to do it in the most local and friendly way as possible too.
I will provide us with something hot to drink for the trip around the city! Tea or coffee, whatever it is that you prefer. :)…
Together on our city-walk we will go to the hidden gems of Oslo. To a lovely neighbourhood which is hard to discover if you don't live here. To a local store/cafe that has so much more to offer than the commercial stuff around the city. And also get to know the locals around here, and you will discover how friendly we Norwegians are! After we finish our walk I would want to bring you to one of my favourite cafes to have a good cup of coffee!
It varies from time to time where I will take you on this little trip of ours. And how things will look like/be open or closed (on Sundays). However, bring a big smile! And please wear good shoes and a warm jacket because the weather is unpredictable now that it is autumn here.
