We will walk a beautiful 5/6-mile loop of the South West Coast Path Starting at the National Trust car park in Holywell, gently rising over the stunning dunes and cliff tops overlooking the beautiful Holywell Bay. Once on this amazing part of the SWCP we will pass rocky coves, a secret sandy beach, where often seals breed and can be spotted playing in the ocean. There is a wide variety of wildlife and sea birds which make this part of the path extra special. There is an opportunity to take a dip at the hidden beach or simply have a paddle or wonder around. Continuing along the South West Coast Path we will head towards the stunning location of Crantock Beach, where we will dip down onto the beach, exploring the caves which hold a secret!! Something exciting for you to see! On the beach we will enjoy a rustic picnic, enjoying the sights before heading back onto the coast path which meanders around a stunning river estuary into a small woodland and over fields. From here we walk through the stunning village of Crantock, where we stop for a drink in a local thatched roof pub which is full of character. Once we have enjoyed a small rest and drink we continue back towards Holywell over the stunning Cubert Common overlooking the blue Atlantic Ocean and back to the car park where we started! This walks shows off the beautiful North Cornwall coast, beaches and villages.
